Its part of the big PLAN, total police state, only here the police are part and parcel of the criminals! The end is nigh!

The criminal will reign, the rest will live in fear!
 
I do NOT support Gun Free South Africa (yet). Leave the licensed owners alone and target the illegal firearms. Impose heavy penalties and get the entire justice system geared up to enforce the law. From the Police to the Prosecutors to the Court to the Prisons....

Oh yes, and make sure ALL the firearms are actually destroyed.
 
Gun Free SA are a bunch of morons in my opinion.

There is no point in removing the legal guns from legal owners until you've tackled the illegal guns.
 
Stupid, all keep silent of the Police force guns stolen or sold in the Hands of more and more criminals. Again how stupid we are

A lot of people are shot with their own guns... A LOT.

Also most illegal guns were legal guns that were stolen from legal gun owners and cops.

Less guns = less killing. Normal people are not responsible enough to own a fire arm.

Then make the tests more difficult/stringent. Or introduce an IQ test...

Those renewal tests were an absolute joke, a 12 year old could pass it.

IMO it's better to have many guns many of which are in the hands a decent law abiding citizens than less guns all in the hands of criminals
 
The argument that many people are killed by legal guns has been rendered useless many time before and I dont want to go into it again suffice to say that a father who murders his family with a gun would have murdered them by some other means had the gun not been available.

Any law that reduces supply of guns will make the black market gun trade more profitable. So you will likely have more illegal guns being brought into the country (Worth the risk as profits are increased) and you will have more crime as a result of violence due to the highly profitable black market.

Think alcohol prohibition. Al Capone and the like was a result of the prohibition, people like him were willing to kill for the huge profits. Why the hell would you want to create a situation like this in the gun trade?

Thats not forgetting the fact I have a right to defend myself and you have no basis for telling me otherwise.

Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.

If there were less legal guns for criminals to steal, they would just import them from the many war zones in Africa. And then we will have a defenseless population up against military grade weapons.

Everyone gets so up in arms about not being able to have their own silly little penis extension that they forget about the other idiots that also want to have guns.

Yes criminals bring illegal guns in to this country but don't you think that it would be a big part of the gun free campaign to stop this ??
The point is that MOST ILLEGAL GUNS ARE GUNS THAT WERE STOLEN FROM LEGAL GUN OWNERS. The legal gun owners supply the illegal gun owners...its impossible to take all the guns away from the criminals when they just keep stealing the legal ones.

Thinking that owning a gun will protect you from crime is actually quite ridiculous... otherwise there would be no stolen guns.
