what the bests firewall to use for adsl

hi guys
i would like to know what the best firewall software to use with adsl connection configurations as i read about OUTPOST FIREWALL PRO 2.7 .i am newbie to all of this and would like some help on this issue

is there any one currently using this firewall if so how do you configure it to work as i learned that some or most firewall block many ports especially for downloading movies /games etc

I use Outpost Firewall Pro 2.7 - it's brilliant.

You can see what applications are running on the networkl, allow certain applications and the various plug-ins are sensational :D.

I highly reccomend it.

thanks for the reply on the Outpost Firewall 2.7 .please can you help me configure as i have been trying for some time to get it to work properly .but failed.

I used to use Zone Alarm, but then it got bloated with Anti-virus and email scanning which I already had.

Currently, I use Sygate Personal Firewall. I does the job without too many annoyances.
