What happened to the speed on Axxess 4mb uncapped?

Before Mweb launched their uncapped offering I downloaded at an absolute minimum of 440kb/s with a download manager.

Then, since the launch of Mweb uncapped, I can no longer download at anything more than 330kb/s - it's identical to the speeds I get on Mweb.

Initially I thought Axxess was just having a slow day... but now it's been like this since Mweb changed the game.

Is Axxess now shaping rapidshare even though it's marketed as an unshaped offering?

Anybody else noticing a slowdown in download speeds with Axxess uncapped 4mb/s?

I'm happy to pay more with Axxess if they can give proper unshaped 4mb download speeds like they always had.
But if they charge double the price for same speed as Mweb and half day Axxess, it's no longer worth it.

You are now paying double for what we have :D. Except you get 330kbs during the day while we get 30-50kbs :D.

Go report them man, 330kbs is unacceptable. Sis
 
Ive noticed that when its throttled / shaped at 7am i get 10 kb/s and then 0kb/s at 8am and then picks up at 4pm to 10kb/s again, but nothing from 8 - 4, before 1st of March it was fine and reaching 25-28 kb/s during the day, something has definately changed their side.

Yea news servers today pretty much never hit 10kbs.

Not that i mind, just leave my pc on over night when the speed is back. Also i am not sure how 330kbs is the same as mweb, seeing 30kbs is a miracle during peak hours.
 
yeah i just wish it was a bit cheaper, 599 instead of 999 would make the poor daily speeds easier to swallow, add that to hellkom around a K in total
 
For the record, Axxess just resell the Uncapped Express accounts from IS, they do not control the shaping of these accounts.

Also, why would anyone be silly enough to stick with their uncapped express accounts now?
 
they may use about 350 a month and mweb at 100gb cap and afri at 200gb cap would not allow for that amount of usage?
