Hey there,

I'm looking for recommendations...

I'm currently using a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse at the moment, but this keyboard is driving me batty... it doesn't always pick up my keypresses, and holding down the ctrl / shift keys to click on things in windows is frustrating as hell cos most of the time after a few times it seems the key being held is fogotten...

And when I'm playing games, holding a key down to walk or accelerate doesn't stick... and then i have to re-press the key.... majorly frustrating and occasinally fatal...

The mouse works flawlessly, no problems at all...

Can anyone recommend a decent wireless keyboard that will not have these issues...

Logitech MX5500, it works brilliantly! It uses bluetooth so you always have a good, fast response. I've been using mine for almost 2 years now and I love it. It's a bit pricey though, around 2k, but well worth it.

I had a microsoft wireless keyboard mouse combo and ditched it after about a month. Holding w down to run in a fps meant at some point it would suddenly stop running which was frustrating as hell.
I wonder if the logitechs do that too?

I also had a MS Wireless keyboard that did that. POS.

At the moment, I wanna get rid of the POS microsoft set, so anything is viable as long as it f-ing works and works well...

So assuming you'll have to replace the mouse as well, this Logitech kb/mouse set gives good bang for buck @ ħR400. Low profile keys, lots of multimedia keys, Logitech Setpoint software, etc. I can personally recommend it (although I use a Logitech G5 and Illuminated Keyboard which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you had the cash ;)).

Personally i don't recommend wireless keyboards or mouse for gaming but yea if you really want to go wireless then logitech would be the best.

Wireless isnt meant for gaming. If you want something that won't give issues, go corded.
