Can anyone enlighten me on what Mweb might be doing with their 2Gb account holders? Some of my clients who are on these accounts have been upped to 3 Gb accounts, with the resulting price increase from R145 to R290, without notice and without requesting the change. Mweb having billing problems? I know of 4 accounts this happened to just yesterday. What's the story? Anyone?

I can only hope that MWeb reduce the prices of their existing capped accounts!
The new price structure doesn't show R290 anywhere for capped ADSL:

R259 is the price for an 3GB All-Inclusive (inc ADSL line rental) package. The Data Only price for 3GB capped is R145, thus your upgrades were just to bring you in line with the new packages and will not alter your billing (still R145).
