The kid is on fire and is having an insane debut season.

How much do you think he is worth?

OMFG debut my arse.. do you even watch your own team?!?!?!?!?

Pedro debutted for Barca in 2007/2008 as a substitute he played as a sub twice that year...

He started 5 games last year 4 in La Liga and 1 in CL...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAH DEBUT... you've just lost all respect from me, goes to show, you no better than those supporters that thinks their team is the world...

To answer you Pedro wouldn't do **** in the EPL he's way too small and won't get the SERVICE he gets from barca so I would say 16mill is prob the milestone for a ok player

When he said debut season maybe he meant the full season playing matches not just a couple last season..

You an idiot.

This is Pedro's FULL debut season.

So because Pedro is short he wont make it in the EPL? :D

That means Messi, Xavi, Iniesta also wont make it. I remember a bunch of okes who said Messi wont make it in the EPL. They seem to have faded into the background and dont really have anything negative to say about Messi anymore.

Spot on.

So 5 which included a champions league is not considered a debut... good one

When I say way too small as in he won't be able to make much of an impact in the EPL and I went on to say he wouldn't get the same service as he is getting at barca

Maybe you should email Sky Sports, BBC, Goal.com and ask them why they refer to this season as his debut season.

Pedro was the first player in the history of football to score in 6 different competitions in a single season.

The kid is a goal scoring machine.

Why do you think that the only reason why Barca players score goals is because of the service they get?

They are all good fowards and often score goals that they create for themselves.

He played last season. This is not his debut season, so stop trying to argue that it is.

I dont know why I have to spell it out.

Pedro wasnt part of the first team last season. He was always called up from the youth system. He never played 90 mins for Barca in the 2008 season.

At the beginning of this season, Pep came out and said...
During the 09–10 pre-season Pedro featured in all six games, afterwards Josep Guardiola confirmed that Pedro would be a part of the first team squad

That is why journo's and us Barca folk refer to this season as his FULL DEBUT season.

Tell me if a player plays once for United this season and only comes on in the 89th minute and never plays again.

Do you consider that his debut season?

*facepalm*

Do you need a dictionary definition of the word 'debut'. He didn't make his first appearance for Barcelona this season, this is not his debut season.

Your debut season is the season when you make your debut irrespective if you have been drafted in from the youth team squad in order to make that debut. Debut is your first cap irrespective of how long you are on the field. The journo's can misuse the term but it doesn't change facts.

On to the topic I reckon he is worth about €16-18 million. Obviously market value is difficult to determine since it depends on the buyers, likes of man city and madrid would be prepared to pay much higher for a player than the other clubs.

Pedro started 5 games and subbed in 6... that's 11 games does that mean not a debut?

So in essence if Ronaldo who started in 2003/04 season only played 14 league starts it's not a debut?

What about Macheda last season who played in 3 whole matches and 2 Substitute are you arguing that's not his debut? What about this season he's played in 5 started and 2 sub it's still not a debut!

So if I'm understanding you correctly debut means you must play all competitions? does that mean Nani only debuted last season?
Does that mean Obertan hasn't had his debuted season yet?
Does that mean Ronaldo hasn't debutted for RM yet? - he's only played in La Liga and the CL

Tell me which competition was the 6th?

Champions League, La Liga, Club World Cup, Super Cup and Copa del Rey... did he also play in the FA cup or perhaps it was the Carling Cup

The term full debut is often used and this is Pedro's full debut season. Blame the term on the media, they refer to his season as that.

And no Pedro doesnt play in the FA Cup. If you knew anything about football you would know that he scored in the:

La Lia
Champions League
Club World Cup
Cope Del Rey
European Super Cup
Spanish Super Cup

Do you need help counting?

Blame the media, but you're the one doing it

I dont mind using it.

Full debut
Full debut
Full debut

If you hate it, email sky, bbc, goal.

So full debut means a player must play in all competition
Great so 95% of the players in the EPL, La Liga, Italian League, Scottish, French League, German League, etc hasn't made their full season debut, oh neither has Ronaldo, but wait Ibra has... yet he hasn't scored in all competition so he's the suck?

So Berbatov hasn't debutted for United yet, great this means we don't have to slate how terrible he's been playing as he hasn't debuted yet!

Thanks for making it clear now

Debut or no debut, I'd give you about 20 bucks. I can name 10 strikers in the Premier League I'd have before him just off the top of my head.
