but i really think ill run out of breath before Telkons announcement, they are the only ISP who have had nothing to say about the broadband price war. Why are they delaying and waiting to lose customers? Well maybe their ridiculous line rentals are enough to sustain them. I have a feeling when they finally make their announcement that they going to shock the market with......... dsl line price increases!

I don't think they will lose that many customers to be honest. I read somewhere on the forum that they are the biggest ISP in SA - and I imagine a very large part of their customer base is casual users without the knowledge to go anywhere else. So these users are happy with their 3GB packages. I have also heard unknowing people say (without consulting the web) that they think Telkom has the best deals because they are large and well known. Or that they don't want to move because it will be too much effort.

So why would Telkom respond? Sad.

ROFL, I agree with you, they are not showing any signs of a price decrease, they are just going to upgrade lines and leave it at that
 
Don’t hold your breath you might die, Telkom isp still huge, only if masses of people leave will they respond, still many people stuck to their contracts
