read reviews which give it average scores. i suppose its up to your preference if you get the game, the demo many people had issues with and didnt do the game justice.
i will wait till its out on platinum as it didnt impress me much.

1st demo I could play, lot like NFSU2. Final demo...the controller config screen and my setup doesn't gel at all. Can't see the full config, can't quit out of it, have to C-A-D and terminate the process.

I've got my share of realistic driving (GTR, GPL) . I need something else on the other side of the spectrum :D

How does Juiced compare to NFS Underground 2?
Not really into the racing scene but I do enjoy NFS sometimes.

From the little bit I've played the 1st demo, I would say similiar. NFSUG2 has no damage model though. Rodent might be able to provide more info. I might just have to walk past a shop tomorrow and see if its in. Worst that can happen is that it does totally suck or behave the same as the final demo (for me that is)

Well the next NFS:U seems to be under development. Called NFS:Most Wanted now though. Seems to be a mix of NFS:U2 and NFS:Hot Persuit

EA is going to MILK the NFS series just like the FIFA and other sports series... lacklustre gameplay with better graphics IMO... moved to Pro Evo soccer and GTR after getting sick & tired of EA tittle rip-offs...

Have already put Most Wanted on my "Wanted" list :D Also decided to give Juiced a miss. Will rather load up Underground 2 when I feel like that kind of action.

Then I'll buy a PSP :D but......this time you're wrong (http://www.eagames.com/official/nfs/mostwanted/us/home.jsp) Note the little "available on" box left bottom
Just a snippet from nfshome to wet the appetites :
The game will feature:
* "Outwit cops" missions
* Visual customisation to manage your ‘heat meter’
* Epic Hollywood-style police pursuits with up to 15 cop cars on screen
* Skill-based cop evasion and upgradable evasion technology
* Interactive environments conducive to eluding cops
There is also a rap-sheet system, in which a player’s notoriety is upped by performing more dangerous manoeuvres in the view of following police.
Eight game modes are promised:
* Multiple point races
* Toll booth races
* Speed trap photos
* Outrun
* Outrun best route
* Circuit
* Sprint
* Knockout – Cost to state, pursuit milestones and headlines
* Milestones
Four ‘distinct regions’ will be offered, along with real time weather and an evolving environment.
*There will be no racing during the night-time*
all the action taking place between sun up and sunset.
Online play will be included with what is described as a ‘similar feature set to NFSU2’ though this time, world-wide play will be included with no conflict between the North American and European versions.

if EA doesnt place some kind of damage control this is going to be a rip-off sequel... the best NFS game thus far has been NFS:Porsche ( title? ) IMO...

Porche was amazingly good game. WTF is up with no racing at night? Thats when street racing happens!

if only they would combine all the GOOD qualities of their titles into one package. There's some features I love in some of their nfs games which others (that have other features I love) doesnt have. If all could be integrated into one package, that will be awesome.
also, If I were them I'd develop a graphics engine (much like quake's creators did) and then build on top of that, and release a new car/map each month which means that your game's replayability increases. You'll end up having a title that survives 4 - 7 years without having to create a single sequel EVER. Half life comes to mind....

i think Most Wanted will be fun, but that's only because us PC gamers are starved for good titles like that because they're usually on released on the consoles. What i'd love is if they'd bring titles like GT and Burnout to the PC. NFSU seems to have stolen most of their ideas from Burnout anyway.
useless, and DFantom, the Porshe one was brilliant. Would be nice if they reprised that but no other exotic car manufactor has such a large lineup, so they'd have to combine 2 or more... Need for Speed: Ferrari vs Lamboghini ? Or going back to the originals where you had exotic and interesting concept cars. We haven't seen that in awhile. (well, not on the PC anyway, i'm told that Gt4 has an amazing assortment of interesting cars)
