LCD Monitor flickers

I have a problem with my one PC. From startup, my Samsung LCD monitor flickers and fades for about 15 to 20 minutes before working normally. I have tested this with a similiar monitor, and it does the same, yet both monitors work perfectly on another PC. After suspecting a faulty display adapter, I tested it again on a normal old Philips CRT monitor, and it works fine.

I have already adjusted refresh rates, resolutions, everything. Anyone have any ideas?
 
... I would still blame the GPU. Install another one to test. Are your screens powered from the wall or from the PC PSU? If from the PC PSU I would switch to wall power for the display....

I suspect the florecent backlight of the LCD monitor is on it's way out.
