my Nexus vs my Desire

hey blokes and gals

im fortunate to have both nexus and desire. both awesome machines.... HOWEVER

when i got the Desire i really thought I would sell off the Nexus. But now it seems i will prob
sell the Desire. Dont get me wrong, its one insane machine. But there are a couple
things that keep pulling me back to Nexus.

I really do like sense, but I really am enjoying the more raw Google UI over Sense.
Its just more basic and really faster and cleaner and in my eyes more attractive. Sometimes when
im using sense i feel im on windows (thanks to my days of sense on sony ericson x1)

secondly i really still enjoy the trackball. and especially the trackball notifications. for me i have it
setup as green for gtalk , blue for email, orange for sms etc. Desires notification light is rubbish.

i do however think that the design and build is better on Desire. Nexus feels a little too rounded and smooth and star trek like. but thats a minor point.

otherwise they are are same darn phones. i spose i would be really happy if i could find a nexus rom for Desire, but no one seems to be doing that.... and then i would miss out on the trackball lights

I did see someone with a nexus one rom for the desire on youtube. Will get the link when i go home.

Nexus One > Desire in Price. Plus the Nexus has a dual mic for noise cancellation, and the first of the few to get FroYo.

Ok just checked now, its not the stock nexus Rom. But it looks quite simple.

Have you updated your Nexus to FroYo? There's no comparison after the update. It leaves the Desire choking in it's dust
