Probably not many slipknot fans here, I wasn't anyway.

URBANDALE, Iowa -- Urbandale police said a man was found dead in a hotel room in Urbandale on Monday morning.

Police identified the man as Paul Dedrick Gray, 38. They said he was found at 10:50 a.m. at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott at 8800 Northpark Johnston Drive in Johnston on Monday. He performed bass and back up vocals for the band Slipknot since 1995.

I must admit that the drummer is a brilliant, brilliant drummer and Corey Taylor has an excellent voice, but myself am not a fan of nu-metal either, as a rule.
 
Isn't that the band that the Krugersdorp teenage slasher with the sword at school used to listen to?
 
(CNN) -- Paul Gray, the bassist for the metal band Slipknot, was found dead Monday morning in his Des Moines, Iowa, hotel room, according to police. He was 38.

Gray's body was found by staff at the TownePlace Suites, said Sgt. Dave Disney of the Urbandale Police Department.

An autopsy, including toxicology tests, will be performed Tuesday, said Disney, who declined to comment on reports that drug paraphernalia was found in Gray's hotel room.
