Department of Communication to Discuss Telecoms Pricing

Whoever goes to this meeting please take the transcripts from the ICASA hearing and ask them if we can please start where the ICASA meeting left off so that we don't end up repeating this whole process. I have a sneaky suspicion that there might have to be loads more of these meetings before anything is actually done, but it is a good thing that they are having this meeting.
 
Erm, maybe summarise the transcripts, cause reading them gave me a head ache. And after a while i started talking like that! People at the office thought i was nuts.

The summaries should suffice, and if they complain refer them to the original transcripts.

But yeah!!! This is AWESOME news! How soon after the discussion can we expect feedback?
 
Hmm, I smell another committee being appointed to investigate the cost of telcoms in SA. Expect report and result in about 2 years. :(
 
Na it's just another one of those discussions where they critisize and critisize and then go home and drink coffee and do nothing.
