Want to swap a graphics card fan

I got a toasted XFX geforce 8800GT and its got an awesome zalman fan, and I want to fit it on my ATI Powercolor HD4650.
The problem is that the fans power plug on the 8800GT is bigger (still 2 pin) then the HD4650's fan plug, and it got me wondering is it ok to us this fan on my ATI? I was going to swap the plugs so I could fit that fan.
will it be ok?

As long as you swap the plugs i don't see there being an issue.. Should work fine
