I seem to be unable to connect to irc servers from the ordinary internet apn - I assume it is due to ping blocking, but not really sure, anyways is anyone else successfully using irc with 3G on the internet apn?

Other than the irc problem, I am quite impressed with Vodacom's 3G, and Skype2Skype is really good as well - I haven't tried Skypeout yet though, but I can say that 3G whoops iBurst's ass with reliability and Skype...hmmm I could ramble on for ages, perhaps I should write a blog about it?
Ok, back on topic now, is anyone successfully using irc on 3G?

If you want, I can add hostnames/IP addresses to my SmokePing config, and I will then publish the .png files on imageshack.us [I'm too lazy to do the pinging myselfDaveogg said:Hey IC
Do me a favour could you post some local and international pings. I am battleing with skype on 3G due to high, erratic pings although everything otherwise works pretty peachy. I am connecting through a V800 on usb so maybe that adding some latency compared to a data card??
