Hey All,

I have the pleasure of being locked into using a Tilgin home network router, courtesy of Goal Technology Services. I would like to setup a wireless home network.

Does anybody know if i can plug a wireless router directly into the Tilgin, or is there any other way to overcome this silly little piece of hardware ?

Thanks in advance

Is this adsl, wireless or what? What is the model of the router so we at least know what we are dealing with.

Whether its ADSL, Wireless or whatever as long as the existing modem is running on Ethernet - All you need is a wireless access point to be added at any point onto your existing network, and the wireless access point should map you into the network.

I've done it at a mates place, he has 1 network cable coming into his bedroom from the wireless router on the other end of the house, so we took his parents old wireless modem - (the modem part got zapped and not working, but wireless is fine), and plugged it into the network, setup the wireless settings on it, turned off DHCP and it's now a wireless access point in his room for when mates with laptops come to visit ;)

You want to plug in an access point, not a whole router (that should also work though).
