Laptop VGA to TV AVI/SVideo

Hi

I want to watch some movies from my laptop on my TV.

My computer has a VGA card. No svideo or anything. My TV has AVI and Svideo.

What can i do to watch the movies on the TV.

No it would not work in 90% of cases, it only works if you have a non-standard VGA port which supplies the correct signals. You cannot connect standard VGA signals to video/s-video connectors, the frequencies are completely different and require electronics in between to convert the signal.
