Randburg based Financial Giant. The Data Warehouse Analyst needs to provide the analysis and design for information solutions to various business areas. This includes the interpretation of the user requirements into technical specifications and design documents, as well as the possible identification of new data sources to the Data Warehouse.
ACCOUNTABILES AND APPROXIMATE WEIGHTINGREQUIRED
• BSc Computer Science and or BCom Informatics EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential • Two (2) years relevant experience in consulting, information management, information technology industry • Two (2) years experience using a data profiling tool Preferred • 4+ Years Data Warehousing experience • Financial services sector experience and understanding • Modelling experience in Erwin/M1/IDA • Database design experience • Test analyst experience • Sufficient Data Warehouse experience (3 – 5 years) FAIS Experience required (FAIS Jobs only) KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Essential • Logical modelling Level: Do and Check • JAD Facilitation Level: Do and Check • Business Requirements gathering Level: Do and Check • Communication Skills (Verbal, Written) Level: Do without Supervision • Planning Level: Do without Supervision • Conflict Management Level: Do without Supervision • Interpersonal Level: Do without Supervision • Presentation Skills Level: Do without Supervision • Analytical Skills Level: Do and Instruct • Leadership Level: Do without Supervision • Ability to work under pressure Level: Do without Supervision • Physical modelling Level: Do and Check • Dimensional modelling Level: Do and Check • BABOK Level: Do and Check • Logical Modelling Level: Do and Check COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (Select as many as required from drop-down menus) This is a Permanent position based in Randburg offering R420k to R500k per annum negotiable in experience.
