YouTube celebrates Viacom victory with vuvuzelas

After successfully staving off a billion dollar lawsuit from Viacom, YouTube celebrates with vuvuzelas; Experience YouTube videos as if they were recorded in South African stadia

YouTube users began noticing a button with a soccer ball icon on certain videos after the dismissal of the case. Clicking the button results in a din of vuvuzelas being played over a video's existing soundtrack.

The timing of the appearance of the button has many users interpreting it as Google's way of celebrating the victory over Viacom.
 
It seems that Google has also introduced the vuvuzela into street view, for areas in ZA. The little peg man appears to be carrying one.
 
Awesome!! I hate the noise that comes from it and I cant blow it to save my life, but heck, we have turned the world upside down. My cousin now lives in the states and says people are bring them to baseball games. I actually think I could park rangers should carry one of these in case their rifles malfunction and they need to put the fear of man into hungry lion....hahaha :)

Damn straight! And the "phenomenal" growth of the "ban the vuvuzela" group on Facebook is slowing dramatically :) They've even given up on posting daily member numbers

So how many Facebook members are there again? ;) Oh, and most of the comments have turned to football and other trivial topics now. It appears they have grown bored of their latest hate attack already ha ha
