Description:
We require a Business Analyst with at least 5 years experience in JAD session facilitation, application of modelling/ mapping techniques, SDLC, Business process (re)engineering and IT project management.
To streamline and improve the business processes through research, benchmarking and the application of formulated process modeling techniques.
To ensure, organize and facilitate JAD sessions and document final results in order to identify business IT requirements and craft business solutions.
To facilitate the study of problems and needs of the business to determine how the business system and information technology can best solve the problems and accomplish improvements for the business.
To provide development and testing support to ensure sign off of user acceptance testing, pilot and production testing
To manage documentation to ensure an audit trail for the solution
To ensure effective administration to enable progress on projects
Required
National Diploma/ IT Degree
Business Analysis course
5 Years experience as Business Analyst
Exposure within the ASP.Net framework an advantage
Experience with, or qualification in, Joint Application Development (JAD) session facilitation
Application of modelling/mapping techniques
Verbal & written communication skills
UML an advantage
Proficient in MS Office and MS Visio or similar modelling tool
Microsoft Project
Knowledge of a complete systems development life cycle
Knowledge of Business process (re)engineering
Knowledge of IT project management
Knowledge Business analysis standards, tools & methodologies Knowledge of IT techniques
