A booming financial institute is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to come join a newly created Data Analysis Team. This award winning employer of choice is seeking a strong analyst that understands the methodologies and technologies that portray the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations.
The role will require communication with data vendors to correct data quality issues as well as the modeling of data sources and flows. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models.
Requirements:
BS/BA degree, preferably in business, MIS, or computer science
Has a minimum of 4 years experience with knowledge of Data Design and Data Models, Data Query tools and is a strong communicator who can facilitate joint application development (JAD) sessions.
Has a strong knowledge of data administration concepts and is proficient in:
• Visual Basic using SQL (essential)
• MS Access – Advanced Level (essential)
• MS Excel – Advanced Level (essential)
• MS Word Intermediate
