Johannesburg consultative firm seeks an experienced AIX Administrator for the configuration, maintenance and support of AIX and UNIX Solaris platforms.
Our client is a consultancy who provides services to a wide range of AIX and UNIX/Linux based platforms.
You will be required to have the following skills:
• Extensive working knowledge of IBM/AIX
• UNIX/Solaris and some Windows knowledge advantageous
• Administration and troubleshooting of operational production environments
• Oracle or SQL Server
• IBM P series hardware and IBM Storage solutions
The perfect person for this position will have a Degree (computer science or engineering) or a relevant certification as well as 3+ years experience as an AIX Systems Administrator with knowledge of IBM P series systems.
Reference number: md20359, permanent role based in Sandton offering R350k per annum.
