A Sales Executive is required for a leading trading and risk systems vendor/consultancy. Our client is searching for a candidate who is tenacious, driven, extremely hard working and who has excellent capital markets knowledge to develop a strong sales pipeline and drive their business forward. If you are successful you will reap the rewards of success and will be generously remunerated.
Your focus will be driving the growth of the sales pipeline in the Southern African region. Your duties will include prospecting, qualifying and closing sales opportunities. You will liaise with and build strong relationships with chief dealers, traders, and senior financial technology professionals. Cold-calling will be part of your daily activities and you must be comfortable doing this. Where required you will receive extensive support and training from a highly knowledgeable team who are leaders in their field.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and experience:
-Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets and Investment Banking
-Experience in a Trade Support, Middle Office, or Risk position within an Investment Bank OR Experience working in sales for financial systems vendor
-Good knowledge of Equities, Derivatives or Market & Credit Risk
-A University Degree
-Driven and motivated personality, comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
Please note that previous sales experience is not essential for this role.
