I need everyone’s help with this one! I feel Battle For Middle Earth is one of the best strategy games available at the moment and there is a huge online following. I would like to prove this and host a competition at Rage for BFME!

I am planning to sponger some prices for LOTR BFME if there are enough contestants. The prizes will go like this. Five games of your choice for the winners, 3 for first, 2 for second and a board game for the third.

What do you think? Hope I get enough people together to make my effort worthwhile.

Nictron, you'll need to contact Arena77 to arrange a formal competition at Rage. If you want to arrange a semi-formal one at the NAG Lan then you do not need to contact anyone.
 
Semi-Formal

No it will be a semi-formal competition, prizes will just be for motivation becuase I like BFME. Trying to attract as many players as possible. Usualy these competition only consist of the top three or four games and good games like BFME are left behind. So ya it is just for the fans of BFME!
 
BFME Online

Online play for BFME is quite good, you will need to update the game to 1.2 and go online in the network menu. Use the quickmatch function to play. I have played on 56k, ISDN and ADSL and it works. ISDN is better than ADSL becuase ADSL has hickups if you play on a shapped account but work ok after 9 in the evening.

So will you be game for the Comp at Rage.

Lets me know ASAP so that I can book a Cluster for the BFME comp.

I have been getting support and it is growing nicyly. Just remember to buy you tickets for NAG it is going at a steady rate!

Battle for Middle Earth @ Rage

Hi Everyone

This is just a last conformation e-mail to check all the Battle for Middle Earth competition contestants before I send out the preliminary tables.

Please come back to me before Sunday night, as I will send out the preliminary tables at that stage. As you are probably aware there will be last minute entrants allowed before the competition starts so as I stated these tables are not final.

I want you to answer the following three questions:

1) Are you playing 1vs1?
2) Are you playing 2vs2? And who is your partner in 2vs2?
3) What is you handle or nickname? And if you have a clan what is their name?
4) Who are all your friends also competing in the BFME competition?
