Uncapped ADSL at an effective price of 77c per GB

643GB? Lol, I did that in two days in Korea :p

Korea - 100Mbps = 12500Kb/s.
643GB = 64300000MB.
Considering (my) the average - 10000Kb/s.
64300000MB/10000Kb/s = 1.78 days.

In the region of 2.5 days a TB is done!
Wow...
Those are big figures. Beware! Gonna get lost between those big numbers!

uncapped seacom breaking account - 643GB @R0.77
express satellite - 633GB @R1.42 (Express+ will be slightly more expensive)

effectively you have to do around 1.2TB to match Mweb. Probably allows me 2 weeks of no internet access on MWeb before the top Axxess accounts make sense on a cost/benefit analysis.

I reckon going for one of these seacom accounts is a no brainer for a household in the long-term even if you buy one 3GB WA package a month as backup i reckon.

hey, is there something wrong with table 2 and 3--the speed 384K getting average speeds equal to 4meg lines?? am I missing something?

whats the point o0f the article, so what are Axxess trying to say? because our uncapped per GB prices are so cheap - sure?, that they dont have to have back up data for when cables go out and they dont need products to improve in quality and pricing? what made them post this, is this the bowel movement for the decade?

1.2 terabyte is possible on Mweb - havent' seen that kind of action AXXESS uncapped.

i dont think anyone can get speeds like that on Axxess, i have canceled all my uncapped accounts with them cause they are so slow

Screw Axxess, they've had no backup in place for SEACOM other than taking 48 hours to tell me I must buy a SAIX account from them at R 100+/GB.

As wpswart explained above: "They have a 384Kbps account on a 4MBps line"

To be vain and quote myself:

Express accounts are subject to 10-day rolling thresholds as well as throttling during peak times based on which package you opt for. They are unthrottled from 20h00 at night and over weekends.

I'll update the table headings of table 2 and 3 to be less ambiguous.

well a mates axxess shaped account has been dead since seacom went down.
