Hi Guys, sorry if this post is in the wrong place, I wasnt sure where to put it.
Has anybody ever challenged Telkom's "membership" to the proudly South African Initiative?
For instance, can Icasa's report regarding Adsl relate to the following membership complience criteria.
3.5.4 Compliance with statutory, industry or product-specific quality programmes, as well as a general commitment to the quality of products and services can be demonstrated;
Imagine how much effect it would have if we could get telkom's membership revoked. (Yes, I realise they are founding members.)

challenged to death in many diffrent ways....problem is telkom were founding members and huge financial contributors tothe PSA campaign so....unlikely their membership will be revoked.

Dammit, back to the drawing board.
Hello Jackson.
Yes this avenue has been followed; with very little results I am afraid.
I did a search of the forums and found two that I can remember.
Campaign to Revoke Telkom's Proudly South African Membership (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=20091&highlight=proudly+south+africa)
Getting Telkom struck off ProudlySA list (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=12629&highlight=proudly+south+africa)

Well as far as I am concerned the whole 'Proudly South African" thing as a load of bollocks not worth the paper it's printed on. Just another bit of marketing crap. Honestly, if they let Telkom in (as they have) then what does that say about them?
even if they make telkom no more proudly sth african, wat does telkom have to lose?
they have no competition neway! :(

Take Telkom to the court and win the case.
That's the only way to take PSA off from Telkom...
