Dude, Seacom has been broken since Monday, 5th July. It will only be fully repaired on Thursday, 22nd July.

Seacom have put in place a backup link via the TEAMS cable, but they did warn that the internet would be sporadic until the main link can be repaired.

It has gone down several times today already for a few minutes each time... but it is back up again now.

Just be patient... you can find all of this out by reading other portions of this board.
 
if only few minutes, I will not complain. but this time is serious dead
 
Mine is dead too on Cybersmart.

Still dead as we speak.
 
maybe they have found the faulty part of the seacom cable and have severed the line to begin repairs? I dunno. They warned us it would happen.

Anyway my OpenWeb Uncapped Express is working fine.
 
No problems on Openweb Uncapped - Northern KZN.

where are you guys? i'm in CPT and my cybersmart connection has been fine. I think only their JHB/KZN clients are routed through Seacom but they will probably reroute you though SAT3 now until Seacom is back up.
 
Problems on Mweb Uncapped, switched over to WebAfrica which is fine.
 
Google and You tube down on mweb uncapped
