torrenting/seedbox advertisement right after anti-piracy campaigning..... hahaha class

torrenting/seedbox advertisement right after anti-piracy campaigning..... hahaha class

maybe it's a helper thread to assist in the witch hunt currently going on or which popular service to avoid due to too much popularity...

lol mweb are proberly gona get the details for this merchant, then add them to the shapping so people cant BYPASS the shapping and ABUSE their network

Ive been using the seedbox from seedme & their prices are around R120 per month for no bandwith limits & a max speed of 1gigabyte/s.. which in mean speeds thats about 20mb/s (20 000kb/s) but i use their 200mbit boxes which give me 7 active torrents & 100/bit up & 100mbit down... i rather use it for seeding & getting my ratio sorted than anything else.

Problem is, those speeds will only be attainable in the far off future of this country.. and frankly watching speeds like those is like watching MTV cribs - you just want to kill yourself (if you into that kinda thing off course)

Perhaps you should amend the article, noting that MWEB will now terminate your uncapped account for using a service like this?

...janneman isn't it a bit unethical to punt a service that promotes piracy ?

...janneman isn't it a bit unethical to punt a service that promotes piracy ?

Give it a rest already - P2P has been used for a TON of other distribution services besides piracy for many years. Granted, the vast majority of torrent use is still for pirated material, but advertising a P2P service does not automatically translate to promoting piracy. If the Generation Y morons currently running the TV networks and music publishing houses realised the internet and torrents would be the perfect delivery method to package and distribute their material LEGALLY and combat piracy more effectively, perhaps P2P could lose it's "AMGAD PIRATEz!!" stigma.

just asking, why so dramatic about ?

It'd be interesting to see the results on a 384 line compared to the torrent speeds. I've been tempted to use ImageShack's torrent download service as I hear thats pretty good.

wtf... now mweb are gonna shape the hell out of any aerovps ip's

thanks tjop

you could actually pick up a VPS with unlimited bandwidth and 150gb drive space for about R260 if you're willing to install all that **** yourself.

@the bugs you got when reviewing this product, I'm not surprised. TorrentFlux is archaic to say the least so it hasn't been updated to the world of UTF8 yet

Not arsed of shaping from any ISP - it doesnt affect me. Never has and it never will ... besides torrents suck.

I'm running @ full speed ... Always, all the time ...

if you read carefully, i'm not worried about them shaping torrents, i'm worried about them shaping areovps IP addresses...

Hehe cool - I dont use torrents my self ... I'm on news servers and its just the way to go.
Can't imagine why anyone would ...

I might use such a service if I had a faster line. 384k line, I could put the cash to better use by just getting a faster line...
