Apple BT Keyboard + iPhone IOS 4.0 = Amazing, Truly Amazing New Feature

One of the great new featurres of the new (iPhone) iOS 4.0 is being able to pair your BT keyboard (Mac or Windows) to your iPhone - my Apple BT keyboard and 3GS work flawlessly together.

Prior to iOS 4.0 this feature was only available to jailbroken iPhones. Typing SMS's for example is an absolute breeze, taking 10th of the time, as is searching for SMS contacts etc.

Please Note:
The BT keyboard can't be linked to either your Mac / Win and iPhone at the same time. Move it away from or shutdown your Mac / Win and turn keyboard off and on to make it discoverable. All you have to do is turn off your keyboard, then turn off the bluetooth on your iPhone, then turn the keyboard back on and pair your iPhone to it. As mentioned, mine works flawlessly.

Fortunately I have 2 Apple BT keyboards. One solely for iPhone BT (and) the iPad when IOS 4.0 comes to the device later this year.

Once paired you have text access all applications notes, email, sms's, email, web etc.

That is nice, I used to have an app on my old Windows Mobile phone which did the same thing. Hope Google implement it in a future version of Android.

Sucks though that you have to pay for it and even you did, its not available locally through normal channels.
