FREE Socks and Proxy Server

Hey friends,

I posted this address in the General ADSL forum, but I would like to know if it will work on IBurst.

I have started a free Proxy and Socks server on a 100Mb/s backbone in the states.

On ADSL it works great for shaping.

Could someone please try it and tell me if it works on wireless?

Details:

Proxy: proxy.blazetalk.com Port: 443

Socks: socks.blazetalk.com Port: 20

course it does, its a socks proxy it will work with anything that can run tcp connections.

by the way ibursters use this in azureus to get around shaping for bit torrent downloads, you can also do the same for emule but it wont work as well because you get scanned for open proxies on connection to the network

I just wanted to know if anyone can assist with the following :

Say you have 2 Bit Torrent clients (viz. BitLord and Azerus) and you have a torrent in BitLord sitting at 30% downloaded......can I take that torrent over to Azerus and will it continue from 30%?

Please Assist :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
If you look at my sig, you see I have an iBurst, and I said I got it working. Come on people read the thread!

Damit !!!! I must be having to a "blonde" week. I am trying this socks proxy thogether with Azureus, but it looks like a gremlin in my bytes. I have two PC on a wireless LAN (ABOCOM Wireless Router; aka MECER), this is connected via WAN port to iBurst. I have configured "virutal server" or port forwarding to the best of my knowledge.

I am getting a connect state on Azureus but I am not managing to download any files or data.
On the down I get an error msg: Connection Error: (No Data received from tracker)

Anybody got any ideas?
 
Seems like nobody knows about Torrents.....This is really some kind of community...everybody just ignores your question.
 
muku_man, welcome to MyADSL :).

Slimothy is the resident expert on P2P with iBurst, but have you found anything by googling the forum?

The proxy/socks server is down for "maintenance". Lets hope MRBEEP can get it running again.
