Are there any guild wars players out there?
Im on the european server and im thinking about starting a south african guild
Tell me your character names and maybe we can get a guild set up and kick some ass :cool:
 
i will dwelve into GW at a later stage... just trying to shake off BF2 from my online addiction at the moment....
 
Yeah got the game last week. me and bout 4 other friends currently play but the lag is a bit irritating sometimes. 128k ftl :(

So many choices nowadays.......eve.......bf2......guildwars. Just can't find the time to sit down with them and make a career out of it. ........../me ponders breaking a leg to get a month's sick leave :)
 
is the game playable again?? on ADSL i mean, damn you useless, you wont have that problem...

heck... even with ISDN from the 1st of August the lag has been bad, i dont know if its coz of some network changes that Telkom have made or the overfow of ADSL subs but latency has been horrible for any games to run on international servers.

Its impossible on month end and barely playable during the middle of the month... i hope it gets better one day... sigh... :(
 
August has been kinda of a weird month concerning lag. Usually my pings to iceland(eve) is bout 330-360 but August i sat there sometimes with 5 minutes of good pings and then suddenly for 10 seconds no replys whatsoever. Kinda sucks

I play guild wars on Iburst and i dont lag at all. I can even play during peak hours and it still works beautifully :)

Anyways, lets get some character names and get a guild started!!!
 
Yeah! A South African Guild sounds like a step in the right direction :) I currently have a guild called Children Of The Sword with 2 members (haven't started building it just yet) but would get my ass in gear for an "official" SA Guild!

My nick is Sylaura Daener. How we gonna do this? I'm willing to contribute some platinum to the cause as well.

lvl20 Warrior/Mesmer
lvl11 Ranger/Monk
lvl 9 Mesmer/Elementalist

Come on ppl give me your character names and we can get an official SA guild started!!! As soon as we have about 8-10 people we can meet in ascalon somewhere and ill make the guild.

I have been playing on a "64k" ISDN connection, 64k as my boet is playing with me too :) Anyways, there is a South African guild already operating and all details will be revealed in the Sept issue of NAG.

Come and play over the PVP weekend 26-28 August, If yo have any cap left

ok, no lag on ISDN, what about DSL without unshaped solutions?
