Most popular search terms in South Africa

Spent all their money with their searches of "World Cup" now need to get that back with "jobs" lol

am i the only one who finds it worrying that the 3rd most searched word on google.....by south africans....is google?!

login facebook. lol.. i think people need to go back to abstractive thinking and linking words to objective meaning. i often see people with no idea how to google for something because they're always so busy spewing forth unimaginitve ignorant bull****, rather than see and attempt to explain, meaning. :D

People seriously need to learn how their browsers work. Loads of my friends also still use the Google>Facebook thing to just login into facebook. Is it that much effort just to move your mouse to the bar above and even just start to type 'facebook'? Firefox will probably pop up facebook in your recent visited sites in any case, so just 'f' will do the trick.

Don't even get me started with people googling google?

Shows how most people are clueless on using the internet. They don't use bookmarks, the address bar or anything, they just Google it. If Google is down, or a site is not indexed by it, they're stuck.
The worlds education systems are a failure :p

Exactly. To access MyBroadband, it's Firefox on the quick launch bar -> address bar -> type "my". Autocomplete FTW!

That list is just nonsense. How could "hot" or "fire" be a useful search term?
Who would still be interested enough in jesus or mandela to search for it?

I don't know whether it is my age or my indifference to pop culture but I had to look up what quite a few of those things were because I sure as hell didn't know. Thought Nicki Minaj was going to be some hotty. Bitterly disappointed.

What about "mercadlobire", had to stare at that one and came up blank. Turns out it's supposed to be MercadoLibre. Lots of dyslexic people in SA I guess. :D

With searches like that, I wonder what would happen if google is out for a few hours. Would most people think the internet has gone down?
