Permanent senior level position in the Information Technology sector in Midrnad
Duties & Responsibilities
•Infrastructure Management Implementation Engineer will be required to fulfill all of the following functions:
•3rd Line escalation support.
•Escalation investigation and reporting.
•Architecting (solution design)
•Implementation (Testing, configuration.)
•Integrating (communicating between the various products)
•Customer and Operational Support (Different levels)
•Pro active monitoring the environment and highlighting potential issues and provide recommendations on solution.
•Engage with CISCO TAC as part of his/hers escalation process on complex issues
•Report and document all Security Notifications released by Cisco which may impact a device or devices within the environment.
•Test and report on all software releases that need to be implemented.
•Creation of Standard Operate Procedures with focus on the Services contained within the environment.

•A comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of Telecommunication and
•Networks are essential.
•A Minimum of 5 years experience in IT networking and an in depth understanding of the following:
Qualifications
•CCIE Essential.
Working Knowledge
•MPLS
•QoS
•TCP/IP
•LAN knowledge: Switching Layer 2 and 3 workings
•WAN knowledge: Protocols & Architectures
•VPNs & MPLS (Design & Management thereof)
•Cisco knowledge
•ATM knowledge
•Metro Ethernet
Product Knowledge
•Must have experience in at least two of the Network Management products below:
•Cisco Works
•Cisco Info Centre.
•SMARTS Adv
•Infovista Adv
•Any other SNMP (Simple Network Management protocol) management product/tools
•ISC
