Information Bill is unconstitutional and useless says GCB

The GCB represents some of the best legal minds in our country yet the government's chief legal advisor has consistently insisted that the bill is not unconstitutional.

The ANC needs to see the writing on the wall as far as this bill is concerned, and stop wasting everyone's time with it.

agreed, this law is BS
 
the Chief State Law adviser doesn't have an easy time with this sort of crap - his job is to help Parliament get into law what it wants. I think he has bent the truth more than he ever should but hey in the last 18 months the volume of stupidity into statute translations is making life tough. I just wish the SLAs would go on an indefinite strike. Or at least a go slow until the next election.
