thank U MWEB
in may i cancelled my contract after almost 13+ years as a business client of nashua mobile.

initially they charged me for an extra month, i had to wait almost 8 weeks for a refund, eventually.

no charge for june or july - now its aug and guess what, the @$$holes charge me for what?

i've emailed them and demanded a refund + the bank charges for the debit... watch this thread as i'll keep it updated with the nashua mobile correspondence.

this is plain and simple theft!!!

Why exactly is anyone going to Nashua and Autopage anyway? Do they even offer anything that the "source" [Vodacom/MTN/Cell-C] do not offer? I don't get it, i paged through their booklets for specials and they can't even beat Vodacom and MTN themselves. Why why why? This is like intentionally picking a sloppy middle-man to work with companies who is pretty weak on the customer service side to begin with, so you're literally exponentionally increasing your chances of receiving bad service?

I got impatient and wanted the Desire ASAP. The only people who had it were NM on a MTN contract. Now I'm not sure if it is NM or MTN but I find querying my bill/adding snap-on packages a lot more un-friendlier and manual processes compared to Vodacom

I have never understood why some people go to places like Autopage & Mweb for their contracts.

I worked for Autopage as well. Fusking unbelievable why anybody - even a super dumba$$ would use these middlemen. Takes at least three days to do anything regarding your account/profile. Nevermind the idiot who walks in and wants me to explain to him (I may speak, while he may holler...) why he uses Autopage. "Erm... I don't know - maybe because you were dropped on your head as a baby?" My advice, do not use these guys. I was in their midst and would not even take a contract when offered. Any 'great' service stories originating from these middlemen is only, I repeat only, due to the attitude/experience/consideration of the employee you dealt with directly. Just some info, when you ask a consultant to do something, he invariably faxes it through to head office to be actioned by some tired, overworked admin person. And yes, every store faxes these queries to the same head office. Unbelievable? Believe it, cause it's true!! :D
