Which I personally find hilarious due to the fact that we are barely past a tenth of the current century and with everything changing so quickly... Load of bollocks.
 
10.5 years into the century and they're calling Spain the kings? As they say, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king ;)

9.5 years, but I agree with what you are saying, this is crazy to make a call a like this so early.
 
Italy was the "Team of the Century" four years ago. Maybe that was the century starting 1907 - 2007.

Maybe Spain is the team of the century starting 1910 - 2010? Maybe it was those 2 years, 1908 and 1909 that was the clincher between Italy and Spain?

Coz Italy have 4 WC stars
Brazil: 5
Germany 3
Uruguay: 2
Even England has 1

Yet Spain is the "Team of the Century"

Oh come on, I mean I don't put much stock into Goal.com either but be fair - it was based on FIFA's "analysis". Give credit where credit is due. If FIFA want to make themselves look stupider than Goal.com - you should not deprive them of that. Honestly! :mad:

Tsek man. there's only two pages to read... you should know it was FIFA who claim that Spain is the team of the Century. While goal.com's reporting is suspect at the best of times, they aren't at fault for this article... FIFA are.
