Hahahaa, that Versatip is a fantastic tool. It's a Heatgun/Soldering Iron/etc in one package, and it runs on butane. I <3 Dremel :D

I'm based in PTA :) Let me know if you ever need any help :)

Hi there, where did you buy the new screen from? I'm looking for a replacement iPhone 2G screen and got quoted R2k locally.
 
The 2G is way way harder to service than the 3G/3GS unfortunately. The screen and digitizer are bonded together and cost more too.

I cringed when I saw the before photos, didn't think the thing had any hope.
