Hey

Ive been playing WOW for the last month but since 2 days ago its become impossible to play. I know that at the end of the month its meant to be slow, but today is the 1st and its just as slow as ever! Why?

Thanks

But how does that make sense? I mean the end of the month every1 is trying to use thier
cap up.....so on the 1st why is it still slow if their caps get reset?

end and begin month its slow, usually from 25th-5th of new month roughly

Because some people try to get to their 3GB caps as fast as possible. (i.e P2P leechers)

yah wotever Dominic
They shouldnt sell it if its not going to work properly...
BTW my gaming has been unplayable lately too
192 on 512 except when I visit the telkom website, funny isnt it....
btw2-this site takes like 50 hours to load.

Well torrents have gone fast til the last day, and even today..

clipse has been reporting some issues with the main Telkom pipe to the outside world in SA... since i use nukecap i get those notifications, i was playing GW last night and it was surprisingly quite playable... maybe its a WoW issue??

Through nukecap last night I only had one issue with latency on WoW... pings went to +-3000ms for a bit

Disconnected, maybe something to drink, came back and it was fine.
(The problem on this one was definately the local loop as it was bad from the first hop when doing a traceroute).

Still SO slow 2 day! I played at 6 am for about 10min in IF and it worked GREAT....300ms :D .....but now back to 3000 ms WTF?

Am looking in to Emu's :p

hmm
i wasnt gaming but i also experienced some problems

Downloads were only going at like 5 KB on a 512KB adsl.

Something fishy if you ask me

Hi Gangrel, ye the spike was on the local loop, Telkom fixed the main pipe and relayed all gateway traffic over a much smaller pipe for the brief period.

Holding thumbs but am quite sure the local loop problem is fixed now :)

When will it settle down!!!

Just went to server staus page....all servers have a down symbol....but i can log in! Wtf?
