Concerns over South African Limelight CDN pricing

quite a poor offering. I discussed this with Limelight/BCX about 3 weeks ago. At that point in time there were no peering agreements in place, it was only decided to have one Pop (the one in Midrand) and they could not really answer the commercial model. Quite surprising as one would think that before entering the market the first thing you would do is conduct a feasibility study. If you want to use international CDN then I would rather go with Amazon cloud services or Akamai. To use local CDN, it will be cheaper to host your own managed servers at discount rates (about R8-12/GB).
 
Something like this would have been good 5 years ago but with the international prices dropping and going to drop, I think it's too late.

BCX is building its own metro ethernet links as well to contribute to provisioning of this service.

Thats great - but what if I want to colo in your DC and come in over my own metro network?
