IT Techies analyse and help !!!!!!!!!
I found thanks to RPM and TCP/IQ testing interesting results and stumbled on these test URL's. Results of Telkom USA-SA are appalling compared to others USA-JP,UK,etc. Please add/paste Your own tests links for review and comparison
The main URL's follows:
TCP/IQ,com
My results
Testing 1/2 hour apart since 02 Sept 01:12 AM (little sleep)
http://www.tcpiq.com/tcpIQ/LineSpee...ountryId=196&ConnectionId=14382&UserId=171952
When I switch on a VPN Sat link for download the uploading is higher than the downloading for a few tests where upload is via ADSL512 and download via Sat link. This was at tests
02 Sept 2005 01:22
02 Sept 2005 03:57
02 Sept 2005 04:04 to 02 Sept 2005 04:19
02 Sept 2005 09:10 to 02 Sept 2005 09:32
02 Sept 2005 17:50 to 02 Sept 2005 18:04
02 Sept 2005 18:52
Strange that the Sat downloads performed very well in against "ADSL512" with some latency.

To use quality tool You must be ping-able from outside and quick register. (Worth it) I am now ping-able, setting in modem DG834G (required to run tests)
You must have Sun Java enabled

RPM please put on sticky for easy view
With these results We must Jointly sue ?elkom with common law rights as we have not signed a document to waiver our rights to receiving a acceptable service based on their adverts and promotions.
