A committee of senior Black Management Forum (BMF) members has called on the forum's president Jimmy Manyi to resign, just a year after he started his second term at the helm.

The committee, led by three former presidents of the forum, Lot Ndlovu, Bheki Sibiya and Nolitha Fakude, made their intentions known at a media briefing in Johannesburg this week. They accused Manyi of eroding BMF values by displaying "a frightening brand of arrogance, amateurism and lack of logic" and of being "unfit" to lead the forum of black managers

I really didn't think any of the members had it in them. Should have happened ages ago and the membership had the perfect opportunity when conflict of interest issues arose around Manyi's appointment to DG in the DoL

Even if Jimmy manages to hang on to this position, at least someone from within the organisation is taking this arrogant prat to task. With one of his detractors being a heavy hitter like Lot Ndlovu, hopefully something substantial comes of this

The BMF (IMO) has been steadily losing relevance with Manyi at the helm
