Finance Business Analyst required by my client in Southern Suburbs of Cape Town
Degree or Diploma – Majoring in Accounting/Finance
Degree or Diploma – Majoring in Informatics or Information technology
Courses in UML 2.0 is an advantage
Preferred experience (not essential)
At least two years in the accounting/finance environment
At least two years in the business or system analyses environment
Using UML for user Business process modelling, class diagrams, activity diagrams and use case diagrams
Some programming knowledge Delphi, C++ and MS Sql is an advantage
Some LISP/Asset management experience preferable
Role in which detailed understanding of a database driven IT system was required
Your duties will include :
Facilitating sessions with users and documenting the information gathered.
Using graphical UML design and business analysis tool for compiling adequate business requirements (Business process modelling, class diagrams, activity diagrams and use case diagrams, etc)
Test cases for unit, system and process testing.
Using database interrogation tools to provide support to operational functions
Monitoring the Operational Areas needs from a systems perspective and communicating requirements.
Developing specifications and systems testing of finance aspects of IT systems
Complete task according to standards and on deadline as per project plan
Quality Assurance of business processes and documentation
