Johannesburg – Sexual assault, grooming, sexual exploitation and showing pornographic material to minors were the initial charges put to a 66-year-old man in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday.

The man was arrested last week in connection with sexual offences with between four to six girls over a four-year period.

More charges might be brought against him later, but in the meantime he was remanded in custody until October 7 for a bail application.

Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said last week that the man was arrested after affidavits were received from some of the minors.

Specialist police units raided his property with a helicopter due to the location.

At the time police said they also confiscated various DVDs and magazines containing pornographic material as well as clothing, letters and computer equipment.

Can't seem to find his name anywhere... thought his name can be legally released after one has appeared in a court of law?
 
Agree with copa here! ;) Talk about going overboard... must be that the police is affraid that the 'copter is going to rust if they don't use it!
 
Sick bastard,sounds like he was running a kiddie porn ring.He sounds like he has money too,hope he rots.
