I'm trying to stop drinking coffee but the headache is killing me and I battle to concentrate.
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
Last time I did that, 2 -3 days.
I find a liter or two of coke sorts me out no problem.

If you want to quit something, you have to replace that need with something else.
Like, I know someone who quit smoking, took up running, whenever she needed a smoke and it was bad, she went for a run.
She has no problems now.
Studies have been done that show if you want to quit and addicition, you must replace the need with something else or it won't work (for most)
Except this is caffeine not cocaine. Presumably both will with a bit of willpower get off the caffeine...the cold turkey guy will just be in more intense pain.I beg to differ
Statistically people who quit cold turkey have the greatest long term results
The most effective way to rid yourself of an addiction is to deal with it yourself and not rely on anything else to do it for you. Replacement therapies are the devil!
