Has anyone seen any special offers other than the Value Bundle ?

I mean a bundle with games ?

no the value pack is the standard basically and you dont get a game with it, there are no "with a game" bundles

Cheapest psp I could find was at Hi-Fi Corp. R2399

No Game bundles though.

Mailed them today and i got back a price of 2599 ?

Might as well go with Kalahari (click click) seeing they in the same building so at least it's free delivery.

LOL, i always feel like i'm buying dodgey goods when i buy from Hifi-Corp but my
Panasonic Vid Cam has given me good service.

go to import stores and get a 1.5 or if you're lucky 1.0 psp for 2k or less (you can bargain at import stores)

Here are a few

*Ottery
*Tyger Valley

Unfortunatley the ones closest to me (Constantia & Cavendish) arn't hypermarkets...

Import Stores ?

I take it the franchise isn't called "Import Store" ;)
Any pointers ?

Thanx D_R, Ottery is closeby but it's really dodge, i'll check it out tomorrow.

You should phone to see if they have them - I heard a report Pick 'n Pay had only 25 to distribute to each Hypermarket.

Aaaaaai ..... a whole 25 ......

And i'm what 2 weeks late ....... Chances are not looking that good

I can confirm that Tygervalley Pick and Pay sells the PSP value bundle @ R2000.

Excellent, thanks Franna, think i will take a drive out there tomorrow morning albeit 30 km's away ;)

imho it is a serious waste of money that could be much better spent.
If you want something to keep you entertained on the long road trips buy a gameboy :D

Heh D_R,

Nope, i decided to hold off purchasing it until Firmware 2 is cracked. I did get Hifi-Corp too match Pick 'n Pay's price for me. It's still very tempting but i'll wait until it's cracked.

Being able to run the Homebrew apps would keep me interested in the device for much longer.
