The Western Cape came out tops in a summary of the Auditor General’s findings on the management of provincial departments presented to the Cabinet on Wednesday. North West fared the worst.

Amongst national departments, eight, including defence, communications, justice and public works, declined from the 2008/2009 financial year to the year ended March 2010 and eight others posted improved performances.

The printed presentations in the possession of PoliticsLIVE give the broad numbers and do not explain details of the Auditor General’s findings, which focussed on the provinces.

The provincial overview shows that the Western Cape’s 13 departments received seven clean audits and six unqualified findings but with comments. None of the province’s departments received a qualified or adverse report or a disclaimer, which would mean there was not enough reliable information to allow auditors to form any opinion at all.

And now the ANC is intent on doing away with provinces, or at least the current provincial structure.

Egomaniacal powermongers who couldn't care less about the people that put them there in the first place. Why do we even have a government? Bring on the revolution!
 
I wonder how much the DA spend keeping their books in order? I've seen companies drop millions on consultants before audits.
 
Hmmm, Cape Independence ftw? ;)

In any case, looks like the DA is just going from strength to strength, it's only a matter of time before the poor and ANC followers realize life is improving a lot and begin to vote for who they think is the better party, not because of allegiance (loyalty doesn't get you a job, safety, and shelter, I think soon enough people are going to realize this)
