It is set to be another tough week for ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema.

The sheriff of the court is expected to seize some of his assets on Monday after he failed to pay R50,000 to anti-women’s abuse group, People Opposing Women Abuse POWA, as ordered by the Equality Court.

Malema was found guilty of hate speech earlier this year, following comments he made about the woman who accused President Jacob Zuma of rape.

Malema has told Eyewitness News no sheriff will be allowed to take his belongings.

He would not let himself be recorded and declined to comment on whether he will be at his house on Monday when court officials arrive to attach his property.

The Equality Court ordered Malema to publicly apologise for saying the woman who accused President Zuma of rape, had enjoyed herself.

His lawyer Tumi Makoena has said last week that Malema has filed for a stay of the warrant, until his appeal has been heard by the high court.

In cases where the sheriff goes out to serve documents or attach assets and he expects trouble, he often takes along SAPS members .... I hope Malema is home tomorrow - this is gonna be fun.

Same... but of course before it gets squashed it will be ALL over the papers.. so just give that moron even more ammunition so he can't rant at the newspapers some more.

RE. gonna be fun

I doubt it.
SAPS is simply an instrument of ANC policy and will obey the orders of the well connected.

Most members of this forum do not realize (or refuse to recognize) that SA has become a dictatorship no better than that of Stalin, Hitler, Idi Amin or Mugabe. Right now it is only a matter of adding the finishing touches but the groundwork was done long ago.

You guys realize if the ANC wanted this squashed it would have happened.

Poor malema is getting pwned :p

Oooh cool!

They should take away his House just to pay for the R50 000 :P

Boom! Headshot! Obstruction of Justice... Reasonable force... justifiable homicide. :D

whats the bet he has a Bob Marley song on his hi fi tomorrow.

I Shot The Sheriff.
