Thinking of installing a LCD TV in the kitchen

So my wife wants a TV in the kitchen(where she belongs).

So do I:

1.

Buy a normal 22" LCD monitor with a tv tuner​

2.

Buy a 22" LCD TV​

personally I would go for this type of setup

Normal LCD monitor with RCA inputs & then this below to get the signal from your dstv/toptv/vcr to the kitchen monitor

I already have my RCA cables extended to the kitchen.

Will a LCD monitor with an extra TV tuner not be the cheaper option, as far as i now the LCD PC monitors don't have RCA's?

Buy a Telefunken 22 inch lcd tv.I think it is around R2000.It is afterall for the kitchen.

Check out the Samsung P2370MS, it's a 23" lcd with AV connections and speakers, you should be able to pick one up for about 2k. Then you won't even need the TV tuner.

I might be doing the same thing at the end of the month - found a second had 19" LCD with built in PC and Tv tuner.

sounds good, but then it will be better than my pc monitor........argggg decisions

I recycled my 17 inch LG monitor with a Kworld TV card to the kitchen, mounted on a wall bracket. Very happy with the results.
