Design of user interfaces using user interface best practices and principles for one of SA leading retail and investment BANKS. Extremely exciting project allowing the user the experience of a single SIGN ON to access all banking and investment related activities
Qualifications:
• 3 Year industry related Degree.
• 2 to 3 Years related experience.
Additional:
• Information or user interface design Diploma/Degree or equivalent NQF qualification preferable.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years appropriate experience and a proven track record in the design and application of user interface principles and aesthetics.
• Experience in the creation, editing and publishing of user interface design guidelines and information will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
• Advocate for a culture of user-centered design throughout the organization
• Liaise, advise and train various business divisions on best usability practice
• Participation in product design process
• Ensure templates are designed as per the specifications provided by the Business Analysts, ensuring a consistent user experience across the FNB sites with the help of the usability standards and additional resources available
• Working closely with a cross-functional team to assess product requirements
• Plan, Develop and administer usability tests
• Analyse results from usability test and quantifying results using usability metrics that facilitates the quantification of some particular characteristic
• Promote usability standards and protocols throughout the organization
• Champion changes and enhancements that have a direct, positive impact on the user experience
• Assists with quality assurance testing
• Ongoing research on web standards and document same.
• Ensuring new usability standards are implemented and existing standards are updated accordingly.
