quite strange.....have actually not had too much of a problem as of late

browsing the topics I see not much has changed here. still lots of complaints against Iburst.

Strangely I havent had much trouble with Iburst over the last 6 or so months. I am on the old contracts that give the 64kbps service for free so I am online 24/7. Now and then (1 out of every 10) my downloads do timeout, but I just restart them. Once every two months, the internet is down, but only for a few hours then its up and running again. And I am absolutely loving the full speeds from midnight till 8AM.

I am currently having a small niggly problem with them not being able to change my postal address, but hopefully they will get it right this time.

Also never had debit order issues even though I know its coming when I cancel with them.

So all in all, Im actually quite chuffed.

I hope I havent jinxed the good run :erm:

Only problem I have with them is:
a) They can't seem to cancel my iCall subscription - never mind the fact that I've phoned 3 times, mailed the original service consultant, the original technical consultant and posted a complaint on HelloPeter
b) They can't seem to debit my card automatically. Which is fine by me - I prefer to pay it manually in any case!

Connection is EXTREMELY stable - I always have internet and since I connected my iBurst to my router I've never once needed to reset the thing. Speeds isn't the greatest, but I'd rather have a slow, consistent internet connection than a quick, hardly available connection (yes Vodacom and Neotel, I'm talking to you).

Maybe all those who went to Cell C have left us with a less congested network. My browsing has been great of late - outdoes my WA ADSL at work. Video streaming is the best it has been in months, which is so important when you're fapping to a good porn video. Hate having to stop and wait for it to continue. ...

I still have the same slow speeds issues during the day. The only change I see is since few weeks ago, I don't get disconnected as much as before during the day. But work or browsing is useless anyway.
