My client is looking for an Executive Producer with at least 7 years solid experience who comes from a Key Account / TV background. You will be the one who drives strategic and operational relationships in the African market. This is done by producing episodes of international formats as well as through generating new formats for the local and international markets. You will be responsible for product quality and availability, user experience, people and organizational processes associated with marketing content and deployment. In addition, the Executive Producer is responsible for understanding the ROI and business goals of TV Media, so that content can be created in an appropriately monetizable way. Requirements:
Intensive knowledge of the television industry and its competitive environment
Knowledge of consumer behaviour and marketing – specifically related to how consumers respond to content on a television platform; the relationship between market segments and buying behaviour; as well as of the development of market segments
Extensive knowledge of strategic planning and strategic management
Financial knowledge and the ability to understand the financial mechanics of a business.
Sales process knowledge and the ability to drive deals.
Demonstrated leadership ability
Has a 7+ working experience as a producer in a Television organization, where she has matured direct content and audience management skills.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned television leader who has held key management roles in content operations with a proven track record of building successful television properties.
A successful track record in managing revenue, costs and profit lines.
Has charisma, is visible within the television industry and has strategic connections.
Proven track record in sales and marketing, coupled with a record of formal training in those areas.
